Varun Dhawan: I promise to work even harder on every damn film

Varun Dhawan has worked in films that are considered as commercial ones. While the audience has always seen him in masala and entertaining films till now it was a surprise for many to see Varun in a different film. After all, he had chosen to work in Shoojit Sircar's film.

However, the film released last week on Friday and has been receiving a positive response. Not just Shoojit's work as a filmmaker and Banita Sandhu's debut but, Varun's act as Dan is being appreciated a lot. While this could be the first film of Varun where the actor has been praised so much feeling overwhelmed over the response Varun took to his social media to share how he felt about the same. not only that, he also promises to give such fine performances in his upcoming films too.

"Guys, I just want to say thank you and it's been three days since "October" is out. The love and respect that I have got, this film has got means the world to me. I can't explain how overwhelming is this and how much it means to me. This is life-changing for me as an actor. I promise to work even harder on every damn film, give you the best and give you every character that touches you.

October was like wounding myself to give a wound to the audience so they can remember important it is to love each other, be human and be good.

I love the fact that I had an opportunity to work with Shoojit da Ronnie Banita Juhi and the marketing team. They do believe in this film.
