Sanya Malhotra & Radhika Madan to star in Vishal Bhardwaj's next

While Vishal Bhardwaj is known for his gritty thrillers in Bollywood he was supposed to start shooting for his upcoming thriller with Irrfan Khan and Deepika Padukone in the lead roles. However, the film got postponed as Irrfan and Deepika both were dealing with health issues while not known when will they start shooting for this film but, Vishal has announced his next film with Dangal fame actress Sanya Malhotra and TV actress Radhika Madan from 'Meri Aashiqui Tumse Hi' are all set to make their appearance on big screen. While Sanya made her debut on big screen with Dangal "Chhuriyaan" will mark Radhika's debut on big screen.

Talking about the film, set in Rajasthan the film revolves around two sisters who are at loggerheads. Both the actresses will also have to gain 10-12 kg weight for this film. It is also being said that the filmmaker auditioned 60 girls and finally zeroed down on these two.

Talking about the actress and the film Vishal told Mumbai Mirror, "Sanya and Radhika are fantastic. They are youthful and completely untouched by the world of glamour. Their energy is infectious as well. They come to my office to discuss the film and soon I am as energetic as them. I am consumed by a very different kind of excitement that takes me back to my Makdee days," Vishal says. The 2002 comedy-horror had bagged debutante Shweta Basu Prasad the National Award for Best Child Actor.

Sanya and Radhika will have around two months to gain 10-12 kg for the film's second schedule which needs them to sport a different look. "The film is divided into two parts the girls before their marriage and how their lives change after they tie the knot. Usually, actors give directors a commitment, but when push comes to shove they get cold feet. But that doesn't happen with newcomers who are ready for anything. I am looking forward to directing Sanya and Radhika because I can mould them according to my will, change their look and create something fresh."
