Ranveer to be paid this Whopping Amount for his opening act in IPL?

Hands down to the fact that Ranveer Singh is conveniently ruling in the Bollywood industry with his phenomenal performances and infectious energy. Not to forget the interesting line-up of films that he has for the coming years, Singh is making his way to become the hero of the masses.

By giving a stupendous act in his last film 'Padmaavat' as the cruel, evil Turkish invader Sultan Alauddin Khilji, the actor is currently the man of the hour. Apart from three films in his bag, Ranveer has bagged an interesting opportunity.

If a report by Hindustan Times is to be believed then the actor will be performing at the opening ceremony of the 11^th season of a much-celebrated tournament - Indian Premier League (IPL). Not only this, the makers have persistent on having him as the opening performer and are thus likely to pay him a whopping sum of Rs 5 crore for a 15-minute performance!

A source told the daily, "He will be shaking a leg for about 15 minutes, but the organising team was always clear that they wanted Ranveer as a performer and that's why he has been offered such a huge amount".

The source further added, "His appeal cuts across cities, age-groups and has an equally big fan following among men and women. That's why the organisers felt that he is the perfect fit for the performance at this year's IPL opening ceremony".

There's no doubt that the actor is a great entertainer and he will put up an amazing act at the opening ceremony but the amount is sure a startling one!

On the work front, Singh has three much-anticipated films in his bag - Gully Boy, Simba and 83'.
