Must Read: The truth about Irrfan Khan opting for Ayurveda Treatment

Bollywood actor Irrfan Khan, a few weeks back had informed his fans about him being diagnosed with a rare disease. This made his well-wishers and the media curious about his health conditions and the actor later revealed the name of the rare disease he was diagnosed with.

In a heartfelt post by Irrfan, the actor had tweeted:

Khan is currently in London where he is undergoing treatment for NeuroEndocrine Tumour. In a report by Popxo, the actor is reportedly consulting Vaidya Narayan Murthy for the healing potion.

The report stated, "He has also consulted with Vaidya Balendu Prakash who also treated Steve Jobs and is a big name for his treatment of pancreatitis and migrane related illness. Dr Prakash informed the website that he has explained the seriousness of NET to the star. He has also treated Irrfan and his family members in the past".

Speaking about Irrfan Khan, Dr Prakash had expressed, "I have found him bold, and he was ready to undergo any kind of treatment. I have explained to him what Ayurveda can do in his case, or for that matter in the case of other cancer patients. I am sure by now he has got what we call conclusive diagnosis".

In a statement by Irrfan Khan's spokesperson, they have rubbished these reports. The report read, "As suggested by recent news reports, Mr. Khan is not consulting with Vaidya Balendu Prakash. He at one point had contacted him but other than one phone call there has been no conversation or consultation whatsoever. It is unacceptable to be using someone's illness for your own publicity and personal gain. Like Irrfan khan's previous statements, we all need to respect the space asked for and wait for him or his wife's statement for any further update"
