Irrfan Khan is currently in a battle with his rare disease called NeuroEndocrine Tumour. After being diagnosed with it the actor himself took to his Twitter account to let people know about this rare disease which said, "The unexpected makes us grow, which is what the past few days have been about. Learning that I have been diagnosed with Neuroendocrine Tumour as of now has admittedly been difficult, but the love and strength of those around me and that I found within me has brought me to a place of hope. The journey of this is taking me out of the country, and I request everyone to continue sending their wishes. As for the rumours that were floated NEURO is not always about the brain and googling is the easiest way to do research ;-) To those who waited for my words, I hope to be back with more stories to tell."

And today he shares a picture of him that only shows his shadow on a white wall. With inspiring yet a cryptic post on his Instagram account.

Meanwhile, on the work front, Irrfan Khan will be seen in Abhinay Deo's Blackmail and has also bagged a film with Deepika Padukone that will be helmed by Vishal Bhardwaj. The actor is apparently, out of the country for the treatment and is expected to be back by April.
