Boney Kapoor to visit Haridwar to conduct prayers for Sridevi

The actress was cremated last week with state honours but, her untimely demise had shocked the entire nation and post her cremation, Boney Kapoor along with daughters Janhvi Kapoor and Khushi Kapoor had gone to Rameswaram to immerse Sridevi's ashes.

According to a leading daily, Boney Kapoor will now head to Haridwar to conduct prayers for Sridevi.

A source quoted to the daily, "Conducting prayers at Haridwar is a significant custom for Hindus, especially for those who are from North India. And Boney wants to ensure that he goes through the rituals at the holy place."

However, it is also being reported that her prayers will not be held on the 13th day but, on the 16th day in Sridevi's hometown, Chennai.

Meanwhile, post her demise, Boney Kapoor and daughter Janhvi Kapoor had penned down a heartfelt letter for the actress. Yesterday, the Kapoor family including Khushi Kapoor, Sonam Kapoor, Anshula Kapoor and Rhea Kapoor along with other few cousins also celebrated the birthday of Janhvi Kapoor as she turned 21-years-old.

Well, feels like Sridevi's untimely demise has brought the family together than before.
