I don't blame Sidharth Malhotra...says, Ravi Kishan

Sidharth Malhotra, recently during the promotions of his film Aiyaari had visited in Salman Khan's show Bigg Boss 11. However, as per one of the segments by the Bigg Boss Sidharth was given a task of repeating dialogues from Salman Khan's film in Bhojpuri. But, the actor ended up saying the language gives a "latrine kind" of feeling.

He said that when he speaks in Bhojpuri he feels as if he is in the washroom. As one knows, Ravi Kishan is a big name in Bhojpuri industry, said that Sidharth's comments won't bring down the entire Bhojpuri community.

In an interview, Ravi said, "I don't blame Sidharth. Maine Manoj (Bajpayee, who had appeared with him on that show) se poochha tha, too much sound thi udhar, kuchh samajh nahi aaya aur galatfehmi ho gayi. (I asked Manoj Bajpayee about this, and he told me that since there was too much sound there, one couldn't understand anything and that led to the misunderstanding)."

"He said sorry later, so we shouldn't be too hardcore and take out our swords over this. He should be forgiven One person's comments can't bring down the entire Bhojpuri community or language," added Ravi.

Earlier, actor-producer Neetu Chandra also slammed the actor on Twitter that he should be ashamed for making such derogatory statements against the Bhojpuri language.

Neetu tweeted, "So disappointed @S1dharM someone who is so fortunate to work with best. Who despite being an outsider has made a name for himself, for you to use your words so loosely to disrespect Bhojpuri on national Television. Shocked! How on earth does speaking Bhojpuri gives you a latrine feeling. Shame on you."

However, post the incident Sidharth apologized to the actress and other for hurting their sentiments. He tweeted, "I recently tried speaking a new language while I was on a TV show. In the process, if I inadvertently hurt anyone's feelings or sentiments, I apologise and assure you that no disrespect was meant in any way."
