Akshay's "unbuttoned" gone wrong!

This time it is not the Censor board but respected social activist who has found a reason to frown. In a recent Lakme Fashion week, Akshay was walking the ramp for Tarun Tahiliani and decided to indulge in a impulsive fun play. Little did he know this would cause such an uproar among the moral police and there would be a complain filed against him.

Midway between Akshay's ramp walk for Levi he walked toward his wife Twinkle who was seated in the audience, and requested her to unbutton him. She was initially shocked, but got over it soon enough to unbutton him. The act was not pre-planned. Akshay just decided to add a bold twist to unveil the new Levi's brand "Unbuttoned". Though the act was for pure entertainment, the social activists in the audience took serious offense. They could not understand how an actor who had just been honored with the Padma Shri award could do something so obscene.

Anil Nair, a social activist filed a written complain against the actor, his wife, the show organizer and the hotel management. He also provided video footage of the show to the Police. He requested the complain be booked under section 292 :sale of obscene objects, and section 293: sale of obscene objects to young persons. The police is currently investigating the matter and would take proper action.

As for Akshay he has made a public apology for hurting people's sentiments unknowingly. Did Akshay really commit a crime or is the social activist taking it a little too far?

true it has gone way out of proportion the social activists don''t say a word when they see models wearing almost nothing.. his was just a extempo act and that too with his wife !! there are tons of programmes on tv which needs to be sensored ...

omg!!! like seriously, grow up! first of all, it was his wife doing this, second, he didn''t do anything else, and third the social activist needs to get a life. why doesn''t that same activist say anything when women are walking around in nothing but a bikini??

I won''t call it a crime, but it was definitely irresponsible. Even i was taken aback when i heard of it and thought these ppl stop at nothing...and this was BEFORE i came to know about the complaint.

hahahahahahahahahahaha what a laugh, I don see men complainin seein a woman walkin around in a bra, or the item numbers that are out nowadays. Akshay isnt as bad as some actors out there who bare all in films, all he did was got his wife to do what the jeans are called UNBUTTONED, it wasnt as if she whipped his jeans down and as for the social activist who complained, let the police do the real job in findin the terrorists, murders, POLITICIANS, who steal from ur economy instead pickin on poor old Akshay. I bet the video evidence was purely for the social activists own viewin in private hahahahaha
