7 Bollywood Sequels releasing in 2018 that you must know

In the recent years, Bollywood is highly experimenting the 'Sequel game'. With the likes of Golmaal Again, Housefull 3 and Fukrey returns which went on to became commercial successful sequels there are some films for which we literally do not want any sequels.

Filmmakers are eyeing on these successful trends of sequels and continuing the same, this year too Bollywood will treat us with a number of sequels.

Take a look at these 7 sequels which will release in 2018:

1. Total Dhamaal - Actors Anil Kapoor and Madhuri Dixit have united after a good 17 years for this film. The third film to Inder Kumar's hit franchise 'Dhamaal', Total Dhamaal also stars Ajay Devgn, Riteish Deshmukh, Arshad Warsi in the lead. Also, Devgn will be producing this film and it is slated to release on December 7.

2. Badlapur 2 - After an intriguing revenge drama in its first film we surely wanted a sequel to this Varun Dhawan starrer. The exciting part is that Deepika Padukone has been roped in for the sequel and we're sure the actress will do justice to Badlapur. However, the filming hasn't started yet.

3. Race 3 - The third installment in the Race film series, Race 3 has a complete makeover in terms of director and the cast. The new lead is none other than our Bhai Salman Khan and the sequel will be directed by Remo Dsouza. The cast also includes Jacqueline Fernandez and Bobby Deol. Race 3 will hit the theatres on June 14.

4. 2.0 - This film is a sequel to superstar Rajnikanth's blockbuster 'Enthiran'. The first Indian film which is directly shot in 3D, 2.0 stars Akshay Kumar as a villain in this sci-fi film. The tentative release date of 2.0 remains April 2018.

5. Baaghi 2 - The sequel will star real-life couple Tiger Shroff and Disha Patani in the lead. The film leaves us excited and waiting to witness their on-screen chemistry for the first time. Baaghi 2 is scheduled to release on April 27.

6. 1921 - The fourth installment of Vikram Bhatt's horror set series, 1921 stars Zareen Khan and Karan Kundra in the lead. 1921 will release on January 12.

7. Hate Story 4 - Popular television actor Karan Wahi is all set to turn a Bollywood hero with this fourth installment in the hate story franchise. Ihana Dhillon will mark her debut and the film stars Urvashi Rautela in lead role. Hate Story 4 is set to release on March 2.
