Despite her last movie, 'Chandni Chowk to China' failing miserably at the Box office, the suave
beauty Deepika Padukone has a reason to smile!
Deepika has been nominated for her role in 'Chandni Chowk to China' in the 'Best Actress' category at the 33rd Hong Kong International Film Festival. To add to her glory, it is also the first time that an Indian actress is getting nominated in the Best Actress category for her performance.
Apart from Deepika, the musical maestro and twin Oscar winner, A.R. Rehman has also been nominated for his music in Jodhaa Akbar.
Now, here's wishing both these nominees all the best and raise a toast to the new found appreciation that Bollywood has been bestowed upon.
