Here's what Deepika's father has to say on Padmavati's controversies

The neverending controversies of Padmavati must have taken a toll on the team of the film but, the actors are seen proudly promoting the film even after being slammed each day.

In an interview with Pinkvilla, when tDeepika Padukone's father Prakash Padukone was asked if the controversy has bothered him, he said, "Controversies are a part and parcel of the movie industry and we do not pay much attention to these controversies as these things are not under our control. Whatever has to happen will happen. We will take things as they come.?"

As people have been eagerly waiting for the film to release the actress' father also said that he is very much waiting to watch the film as they found the trailer exciting.

The Sanjay Leela Bhansali film is slated to release on December 1, 2017.
