Deepika Padukone is receiving threats

"Padmavati", Sanjay Leela Bhansali's magnum opus, is not only 2017's most anticipated movie but as well as the most controversial film so far. From the announcement of the movie, it has attracted a lots of controversies, from the director being slapped to ruining of set, and we can not neglect the incidence took place in Surat, where some people vandalized a rangoli inspired by the film.

The film, "Padmavati", has passed the censor board without any single cut, yet it is facing a lot of wrath from the people of 'Karani Sena' and 'Vishwa Hindu Parishad' (VHP), as they suggest that the movie defames the image of Rani Padmavati, without even watching the movie.

Earlier, they threatened to behead Sanjay Leela Bhansali, and now they have taken the threat to the whole new level. Deepika recently stated that the film will be released at any cost, nothing can stop it. Taking this as a challenge the spokesperson of Karani Sena said they will maim Deepika and will cut her nose. 

"Padmavati" is helmed by Sanjay Leela Bhansali, it stars Deepika Padukone, Shahid Kapoor and Ranveer Singh in lead role and is slated to release on 1st of December.
