FINALLY: Arjun Kapoor-Kriti Sanon sign their first film together

It's the season of fresh pairings and a new addition to this is, Arjun Kapoor and Kriti Sanon who are paired together for Saurabh Shukla's next directorial.

Produced by Nikhil Advani, Arjun was confirmed for the film and recently its leading lady was finalised. It was reported that the makers wanted a fresh pairing and hence Kriti was approached for the role. Reports suggest that the actress has liked the script and is committed to it. She's waiting for some modalities to work and is expected to sign the film soon.

Ultimately after two misses, Arjun-Kriti happened to be third time lucky Earlier, Arjun and Kriti were to act together in Farzi but Arjun opted out of the film due to date issues. And now, Saurabh Shukla has managed to bring them together.

The theme of the film is that of social drama with a strong message. The makers plan to blend content with entertainment just like Toilet: Ek Prem Katha.

About the shooting of the film it doesn't seem like it'll start anytime soon as Arjun has Sandeep aur Pinky Faraar and Namastey Canada in his kitty and Kriti has FARZI in her kitty.
