Vivek Oberoi back to making intelligent choices!

Fifteen years ago, Vivek Oberoi made his Bollywood debut with Company (2002). Unlike conventional debut vehicles which happen to be romantic films, Vivek opted for a gritty, gangster film which was a risky career choice. But the film wowed critics and audiences alike and the rest is history.

The talented actor went on to prove his mettle as an actor by being part of successful films including Shootout At Lokhandwala, Saathiya, Yuva, and Krrish 3 among several others for which he won awards and accolades.

Though he had a good body of work behind him and was one of the biggest and most promising young stars of his generation, along the way he did make a few bad choices but is back to making intelligent well-thought off moves - the latest being a web series based on the cricket betting racket, a controversy that shook the nation, Tamil film Vivegam in which he plays the anti-hero opposite superstar Ajith Kumar and Ram Gopal Varma's RAI where he plays the title role of former underworld don, Muthappa Rai.

In fact, author Aseem Chhabra took to a popular micro-blogging site to voice an observation he made on how Vivek has not got his due as an actor and a versatile talent, who clearly can perform.

That leaves us all asking - if we can give him a chance at proving he's still got what it takes!
