'Phir Hera Pheri' sequel on cards? Suniel Shetty REVEALS details!

The first two installments of 'Hera Pheri' series had been a huge hit on the box office. Reports were abuzz that makers might soon come up with the third installment, however, the film is yet to see the light of the day. The comedy-drama starred Akshay Kumar, Suniel Shetty and Paresh Rawal in the lead roles. Suniel who essayed the character of Shyam in the film spilled the beans about the developments pertaining to the film.

In a conversation with a popular tabloid, he informed that the film team is waiting for its writer Neeraj Vora to recover from his illness and once his health conditions improve they will soon start working on the sequel. For those are unaware, Neeraj had suffered a massive stroke last year in October and had been in bed since then.

Suniel said that "Hera Pheri is a huge franchise, one of the first few films to have had a successful sequel (Phir Hera Pheri, 2006). All the characters Raju (Akshay Kumar), Shyam (Suniel) and Babu Bhai (Paresh Rawal) have stayed with the audience and there is a brand recall. As co-stars too, we get along like a house on fire. We must make it [part 3] for fans." (sic)

Talking about Neeraj's health he said, "I believe he is doing better now. Once he is fit, we will roll out the film." (sic)

Last year, a picture of John Abraham, Paresh Rawal, Suniel Shetty and Abhishek Bachchan had surfaced on the internet which had further fuelled the speculations about 'Hera Pheri 3'.

'Hera Pheri' and 'Phir Hera Pheri' had created a laughter riot among the audience and this time the audience expect it to be more entertaining.
