Kangana Ranaut WON'T ACT in any other director's film!

Kangana Ranaut who is gearing up for her next release titled 'Manikarnika' stated that this would be her last film as an actress with any director. On the occasion of the film's poster launch, Kangana revealed about her future plans. The actress informed that she now wants to move towards direction and plans to work on a comedy film.

Kangana who was present at 'Ganga Ghat' in Varanasi to launch 'Manikarnika's poster shared that, "I want to move on to the next phase which means that I will focus on my career as a filmmaker and if I act I will act in my film so ..After 'Manikarnika' I'm directing my film." (sic)

Kangana also said that she is working hard to hone her skills as a writer. The actress hinted that she might also make her debut as a writer with filmmaker Hansal Mehta's 'Simran'. Speaking more on the same she says, "Simran is such a cozy and intimate story of a character ...it's a lot about her psyche just like Queen...it's a lot about the linear graph of an individual...you can involve yourself in that. But for something like this (Manikarnika) you need to have screenwriter of Baahubali for that so V. Vijayendra Prasad sir and Prasoon sir are the right people for this film. As much as I would love to be in a league like this but I think I need a couple of 10-20 years". (sic)

On being questioned further, if 'Manikarnika' would be her last film, to which she responded, "There are projects and then there are films that are sort of fulfill something within you. When I was 15 and left home, I didn't know when I will feel that I have arrived or achieved something and that feeling didn't come post when I started working on Jhansi Ki Rani...just felt like everything made sense you know". (sic)

The 'Queen' actress asserts that her life has come to a full circle. She said, "Before this, no amount of failure or success could make me feel like an achiever and now I feel I just don't want to waste." (sic)

Kangana now feels that she would be more successful as a filmmaker than an actress.
