Are you a book LOVER? Sonali Bendre has got something special for you!

Actress Sonali Bendre who has never failed to entertain the audience onscreen is all set to do something new this time. The 42 years old actress who has a keen interest in reading and writing books has started a book club on social media.

She states that she wants to encourage the habit of reading.

The actress told a news agency that, "I used to be a voracious reader and then I never found the time to. In today's age, everything is digital. We are constantly on our phones or in front of the television, so we no longer take the time to just sit with ourselves."

She also reveals that her work commitments didn't let her the time to spend on reading and thus she is now trying to get back to the habit and connect with her passion for reading.

She says, "I started this club to encourage the habit of reading... It allows an exchange of ideas and thoughts and that is an incentive for completing the book and joining the club." (sic)

Sonali had earlier authored a parenting book titled "The Modern Gurukul: My Experiments with Parenting".
