Akshay applauds Salman for 'strong associations'

Mumbai, March 13 (IANS) After actor Salman Khan clarified that his upcoming film with Akshay Kumar is not a rumour, the latter on Monday said that strong associations are made of commitment.

Akshay is collaborating with Salman for a yet-untitled project.

On Sunday night, Salman tweeted about his project with Akshay.

"Don't follow rumours. Follow me. Ek baar jo maine commitment kar di toh phir...Very much doing film with Akshay Kumar," Salman tweeted.

In reply to Salman's tweet, Akshay wrote on Monday: "Strong associations are made of these. A very happy Holi to you and all at home."

Earlier this year, Salman had announced that he will be co-starring with Akshay in a project to be produced by Karan Johar.

Salman had said that Akshay will be the hero of the film which he will co-produce and it will come out in 2018.

Anurag Singh, known for films such as "Raqeeb" and "Jatt and Juliet", will direct the yet-untitled project.
