Priyanka SLAMS reports of speaking against male Bollywood actors!

Priyanka Chopra, with her sheer hard work, has earned a global recognition for herself. Her performance in American TV series 'Quantico' has been lauded by everyone worldwide.

The quintessential actress recently bagged her second 'People's Choice Award' in 'Favorite 'Dramatic TV actress' category.

Reportedly, she was dragged into controversy for commenting on Indian male actors during her success interviews. Reports in media quoted her saying, "need guts to try [their luck] in Hollywood", when asked about Bollywood actors.

But when the news reached Pee Cee she declined all the reports stating it to be false. The actress marked that she has been misquoted and she never said anything as such.

She says, "Again, as usual, I was misquoted. When the media asked me why the male actors aren't doing anything, I said, maybe because they haven't tried'. That's all I said, I don't know where 'guts' came from. I didn't use the word 'guts' and whatever I said was in a lighter vein". (sic)

She asserted that Indian actresses have been able to earn fame in the west because they tried. She says, "I don't know why the boys haven't done it. He has gone out of his way to [work in Hollywood] but not many other Indian actors have. Try kare toh ho sakta hai (it might work out if they try) Irrfan Khan and Anil are the only two actors that come to mind". (sic)

Apart from her stint in her TV series, Priyanka will soon be seen in film 'Baywatch' along with Hollywood actor Dwayne Johnson.
