Mahira Khan SPEAKS UP about promoting Raees in India & Fawad Khan

Mahira Khan who will be seen opposite Shah Rukh Khan in 'Raees' will not be able to promote the film with him in India.

Previously, there were reports about the Pakistani actress connecting with the Indian media through Skype for her interviews. However, an insider has revealed that all those reports are fake and she will be "very quiet" about her appearance in 'Raees'.

"There will be no media interactions with Mahira. All the media interactions in Mumbai will be with Shah Rukh and Nawazuddin Siddiqui. Besides Mumbai there will be no other city promotions for 'Raees', as Shah Rukh doesn't do city promotions." (sic)

Apart from this, 'Raees' could also be the first Indian film to release in Pakistan after the ban in the country was lifted.

Speaking about the same, during a recent interview Mahira expressed her sadness of not being able to promote her Bollywood debut film.

She said: "Of course, I feel bad. When you put so much effort and hard work in a project, you wish to see the results. I work with same dedication and zeal in all my projects, but 'Raees' is very special." (sic)

Further, she also spoke about her former co-star and Pakistani actor Fawad Khan's role being chopped off in 'Ae Dil Hai Mushkil' owing to the Indo- Pak tension.

"I am not privy to that but I am content with my part in 'Raees'." (sic)
