#SHOCKING: Varun Dhawan's jacket catches FIRE

Varun Dhawan, who performed on some highly energetic songs at the recently held Filmfare awards met with a minor accident during his performance.

Reportedly, Varun's jacket caught fire but luckily he escaped unharmed.

Varun had a power-packed performance as he danced to his chartbusters like Jee Karda and Main Tera Hero. He was also joined by his co-star Alia Bhatt and both grooved to the title track of their upcoming film Badrinath Ki Dulhania.

As per reports in a popular daily, a mishap took place during the performance and Varun's guitar burst out and caught flames.

An onlooker spoke about the incident to the daily, "Varun's act started at 3 am. It was a highly energetic performance and his guitar suddenly burst mid- act."

They further added, "Flames erupted and his jacket caught fire as well. A few sparks also flew in Rekhaji's direction. Though there was a fire extinguisher close by, Varun continued dancing so as to avoid disrupting the show. Luckily, it wasn't anything major."

When contacted Varun's spokesperson, they confirmed the news and stated that the actor escaped unhurt.
