SHOCKING: Abhishek Bachchan REJECTED Aishwarya's request to work

Abhishek Bachchan is soon going to start shooting for his upcoming film 'Lefty'. Apart from acting in the film, he is also a co-producing it with friend Bunty Walia.

The lead actress is yet to be finalized but if reports are to be believed, Aishwarya had shown keen interest in playing the lead opposite Abhishek. However, this didn't go down well with Abhi and he rejected Ash's advice. Reason? He does not want his wife to do the part because wants a younger actress to feature in the film.

An insider has been quoted saying, "Since it's a home production, Ash was keen on doing the film. But, Abhi has instructed his team to look for a fresh, young face to play the leading lady. He thinks Ash may be too mature for the role." (sic)

The film will be directed by Prabhu Dheva and will have Abhishek play the role of a left- handed person (he is left handed in real life) blessed with special powers that help him sense trouble. He sets out on a mission to save his city.
