Here's why Katrina SKIPPED Salman's birthday party

Rumors about Katrina Kaif skipping her bestfriend Salman Khan's 51st birthday bash were making rounds in the town. Even at the party there were hushed whispers about her absence.

Now, we know the real reason as to why Kat didn't make it to Bajrangi Bhaijaan's celebrations.

Reportedly, Kat was not in town and that's why she could not attend Salman's party. A close source has been quoted by a daily, "Katrina is in London with her family. She flew there last week to celebrate Christmas with them, like she does every year. Last year was an exception. Christmas is family get-together for the Turquottes. She's close to Salman's sister Alvira Agnihotri and called her much in advance to explain her abscence." (sic)

On the other hand, Elli Avram who is a regular guest at the Khan's house was no where to be seen at the bash. Reason? Elli had flown down to Sweden to meet her family and spend Christmas with them. Also, she will bring in the New Year with them.
