Dwayne Johnson comes to Priyanka Chopra's RESCUE

A sneak peek teaser of the highly anticipated Baywatch has just released but Priyanka Chopra fans will have to wait with bated breath before their first real introduction ,to the mean villainess Victoria Leeds.

The first sneak peek introduced audiences to the world of BAYWATCH and the many layers of the plot, starting with an introduction to the 'Lifeguard Squad's' star lifeguards, Dwayne 'The Rock' Johnson and Zac Efron and a glimpse of Priyanka Chopra to tease audiences and her fans across the globe.

The multi-layered launch campaign will sequentially introduce the key characters of the film in a series of trailers and while Priyanka's fans were disappointed to not have her feature extensively in the sneak peek, they were reassured by Hollywood superstar Dwayne Johnson that she is a huge part of Baywatch and will feature in the bigger promotional plan. 

Dwayne aka The Rock, even introduced Twitterville to the hashtag #Wait4VictoriaLeeds, reassuring them that it will all be worth the wait !

This is the first time that a Hollywood star has come out on a social media platform to defend and strongly vouch for an Indian actor .The fact that the testimony came from the highest paid actor in the world, speaks volumes for how our very own Desi Girl has wowed the Wild Wild West.

Earlier this year , Dwayne Johnson aka "The Rock" welcomed Priyanka Chopra to the Baywatch family, calling her "insanely talented, relentlessly smoking and extremely dangerous".

Referring to her as one of the biggest stars in the world, the Hollywood star welcomed Priyanka to the badass dysfunctional Baywatch family. Very few know that while the role was written initially for a leading male actor, it was Dwayne who thought Priyanka Chopra would take the character to all new-level.

Dwayne Johnson took to the popular micro-blogging site to say : "She's perfect and brings such a force.@priyankachopra #Boss#Baywatch. All our fans & press friends in INDIA, @priyankachopra SLAYS our #Baywatch! Trust my plan.. The #Boss is comin'.."

He even tweeted to Priyanka saying : "I luv India back! (U already know I luv U;). It's aaalll in the big picture plan. #Wait4VictoriaLeeds #Boss#Baywatch MEMORIAL DAY."
