This week on Spices and Secrets with Zarine Khan, Zarine will invite her long-time friend Poonam Dhillon, yesteryear actress, along with Ashish Choudhary.

Poonam shares with enthusiasm her happiness about recently completing her MBA in International Business. She mentions that she has always been very fond of studying, even when she started her film career. She completed her graduation around the time she was filming for blockbusters like Noorie, Red Rose and Biwi O Biwi. Many years later, now, when she saw her own children studying, her love for academics led her to studying for MBA along with them.

Talking about the present, Poonam Dhillon reveals to the audience her son, Anmol Thakeria's debut plans, "Anmol is gearing up for his Bollywood launch for quite some time now. In my opinion, boys should not start with films before they are at least 24 years of age, because emoting on screen needs a certain amount of maturity, and a lot rides on an actor's shoulders. Fortunately, my son has been receiving quite a lot of interesting offers, but he's very particular and fussy about the kind of film he wants to debut in. But it will happen soon now."

Ashish Choudhary opened up to Zarine about the tragic accident his family went through on 26/11, when he lost his sister and brother-in-law and subsequently adopted their children. Today, he says, he's a much stronger man and a proud father of five children, and loves his niece and nephew like his own kids.

On a lighter note, Ashish and Poonam discussed about their favourite producers - based on the food that was served on the sets! Over a scrumptious meal of karare bhindi-aloo and white fish curry, they beautiful table of food laid out by Zarine witnessed much deliberation about which production house served the most delicious meals during shoots.

Ashish says, "There are certain producers who are very 'dildaar', they ensure that the crew and the cast is served the best lunches and dinners on set. In my experience Ravi Chopra, Yash Chopra and Raj Kapoor, are the few who have always taken the best care about their units. And then there are 'kanjoos' production houses who simply don't care about the quality of food they provide It's a very negligent and sad thing to do."

Makes you wonder who are these kanjoos producers Ashish has had to work with?

Ashish also shares a hilarious anecdote about Fight Club - Zayed Khan, Dino Morea, Sohail Khan and Riteish Deshmukh caused a loss of close to 10 lakhs to their producer, Sohail Khan himself. Following the late night celebrations of Ashish's birthday, the bunch of boys turned up on sets too drunk to be able to mouth any dialogues, and wasted a day of shoot on an expensive airplane hangar.
