I would have been in JAIL now: Shah Rukh Khan

Actors do go out of their way to get into the skin of their characters. At times many characteristics that they portray in front of the cameras are somewhere related to their real life. then there are also instances when the habits of their reel life character makes it's nest in their real lives.

Shah Rukh Khan is one of the finest actors the industry is blessed with and the superstar will soon be seen in his upcoming film 'Raees' where he plays a bootlegger.

During a recent interaction with the media, SRK was asked: What is that one quality that you share with your character 'Raees' and do you bring some of your personal quirks to a character or do some of your characteristics stay with you by the time you are done with the film?

Giving a very in-depth explanation, SRK said: "All actors do that only that has been the experiences of their life. If I had had any experience so its somewhere there within us. It's also there naturally and then we also practice for it, we always try to remember our own experiences and imbibe it in our acting.

So, it's possible that my experience when I felt like crying and that of Nawaz Bhai might be different but there sure is an experience of crying in our real lives.

So we call upon that or we think about it or we must have seen it or must have read about it. So, of course whatever character an actor plays is somewhere related to his real life."

Talking about his character 'Raees', Shah Rukh said: "Having said that, I clearly want to say this and I also want you all to write about this and broadcast it on your Television channels that 'I am NOT at all like 'Raees' or else I would have been in JAIL now!'"

He further added: "I have never done anything like him in my entire life till now. I have never even used any illegal things and I have nothing to do with his kind of lifestyle."
