PM Modi's demonetization move to curb corruption in the country has left the citizens in a state of turmoil as they are left with shortage of cash to spend for their daily purposes. Right from Banks, post offices to several ATM's, all are crowded with long queues waiting outside either to exchange or deposit their old cash for the new one.
The good thing to see is that despite the inconvineincy caused to the citizens, many of them have supported the goverement's decision of demonetisation. Actor Vivek Oberoi too, did his bit in supporting the center's decision.
Vivek instructed his staff members of his infrastructure company to help the people standing in queues by serving them water and snacks.
A report in popular tabloid quoted the actor saying, "It's a small effort for a humanitarian cause". (sic)
Vivek has always been on forefront in extending his helping hand for social causes. The actor also runs an NGO named 'Devi' which aims in educating the girls who are in need of financial assistance and education.
