Another Problem for Deepika and Shahid

As reported earlier, Deepika Padukone and Shahid Kapoor have started with their work on Sanjay Leela Bhansali's 'Padmavati'. Recently, they completed the look test for the film and soon after that a major issue came up.

Reportedly, Shahid's height has became a matter of concern as he is shorter than Deepika.

A close source has been quoted by a popular daily, "Shahid, who joins the Padmavati crew this week, is shorter than Deepika so the look test between them are not working. Because they are playing the King and Queen (Deepika is Rajput Queen Padmavati and Shahid, her husband Ratan Singh, the Maharana of Mehran). Bhansali need to figure out a way to make them appear equal. At that time, kings were not shorter than their queens and Rajput tradition is conservative, so there is no way the director can work his way around history." (sic)

"Delhi based designers Rimple and Harpreet Narula who are working with SLB for the first time and are designing the looks of Ranveer Singh, Deepika and Shahid have been told to find a way to make Shahid look equal to Deepika in height, maybe give him heels, etc. (sic)
