Ranveer Singh speaks about being NAKED in Befikre

Ranveer Singh believes in getting into the skin of the character that he has to portray onscreen. He doesn't mind growing a mustache or going bald. He does it all with panache.

As he gets into the skin for a character, some skin show for the character also seems to be just fine for Ranveer. He has done a few bare upper torso scenes in his previous films, but with Befikre, he has just gone a notch higher.

In the trailer of the film, Singh is seen sporting a red Speedo, as he walks into a club. Apparently, Ranveer was very comfortable while filming the scene and was willing to give as many takes as needed, till Aditya Chopra wished. Ranveer says there was no awkwardness, "I have no problem with nudity. I am not an exhibitionist, I am extremely comfortable in my skin. People say actors nange log hote hai, that doesn't mean they are literally naked. It means that an actor is performing, it is completely convincing, but they are acting, they don't really feel it."

"Actors have their bag of tricks and tools that they employ. They are so effective that the audiences are convinced that the actor is feeling the emotions. I am not from that school," he added.

When quizzed about the particular scene in Befikre he said, "Me wearing the Speedo is just the physical aspect of it and means very little as opposed to what I am actually putting out there. I am naked to another level and it has more to do with my soul, you can't be more naked than that."
