Riteish Deshmukh's film Banjo has finally hit the theaters today. On the first day itself, the film has been receiving mixed reviews from the critics and the audience. After Banjo, Riteish is prepping up for the shoot of his next two lined up movies, 'Mauli' (Nishikant Kamat) and Chatrapati Shivaji (Ravi Jadhav) which will be a Marathi film.
However, its not just Riteish but bhaijaan Salman Khan too, seems to be really curious to join the film's cast. Salman had earlier done a cameo in 'Lai Bhaari' and now he is all set to appear in Riteish's next.
He said, "It was extremely gracious of him (Salman) to have offered to be a part of this without knowing exactly what part he is going to play. I respect that faith he has in me and our friendship,"
"When Salman offered that he wanted to be a part of the film. I asked if he is sure and there he went ahead and announced. He was like, Guys, start writing (script) fast", he added further.
Film Chatrapati Shivaji will be a biopic based on the life of Maratha King Chatrapati Shivaji Maharaji. When asked further about the film he said, "Currently the writing process is on and it would be too premature to talk about that."
He further added that Salman is quite fluent in Marathi and the duo talk in that language.
