'Gays in Bollywood.'

With the changing trends, Bollywood has also been witnessing a lot of changes with respect to its plots, storyline and outlook. Kissing onscreen, protagonists in grey shades, live-in relationships, pre-marital sex, extra marital affairs have already found place in the industry. Now to get on the list is "homosexuality" with special focus on gay relationship.

Initially all the heroes in Bollywood were portrayed as blue-blooded heterosexuals while heroines loo DOSTANA, KAL HO NA HO ked only for the opposite sex.

However, with the change in outlook of Indian society Bollywood too became inclusive.

Karan Johar's new flick "Dostana" will see the male protagonists Abhishek Bachchan and John Abraham pretending to be gay with moonlight dance and all.

A few years ago, "Kal Ho Na Ho" saw Shahrukh and Saif Ali Khan portraying homosexuality in a humorous way.

Even director Madhur Bhandarkar depicted gay relationship within glamour industry in his critically acclaimed "Page3" and "Fashion".

The trend has really changed, today more of gay element is found in Bollywood movies and this element is no more limited upto few scenes but a movie on a whole. However, the purpose is just to add humour but very soon, it may find its way as a critical subject for making films.

So what do you think are we ready for a "Brokeback Mountain" in Bollywood?

I do think we are ready for Brokeback Mountain in Bollywood...face the facts world is diff now, things aren''t not like it use to be back in the old days...society is changing now...everyone should, must have, be given & treated equally...either straight or not...
so why not...I don''t see anything wrong with it at all....

i''m sorry, but gays in bollywood is just too disgusting to think about. I personally feel it goes against everything bollywood is about.
