Emraan Hashmi reveals the TRUTH behind his COLD WAR with Aishwarya Rai

Emraan Hashmi has finally revealed the reason behind the snide remark he passed on Aishwarya Rai Bachchan at Karan Johar's chat show 'Koffee with Karan'.

For those unaware about the incident, it so happened that Emraan had been on Karan show and there he labelled Aishwarya as "plastic" and this didn't go down well with the actress. However, this incident took place two years ago but the reason it popped back in the media is because Ash declined to work with Emraan because he had passed this comment on her.

Recently,  there were reports in the media that Aishwarya was the first choice for Milan Luhtria's upcoming film 'Baadshaho' which stars Emraan Hashmi along with Ajay Devgn. But, even after being approached at the eariest stage Ash turned down the offer as she found out that many of her scenes will be with Emraan.

During a recent interview for his upcoming film 'Raaz Reboot' Emraan was asked about it. Instead of getting angry, he laughed about it and said: "I don't know who was approached for the role of the leading lady but it's like going back into history... that (the remark on Koffee With Karan) was two years ago. The statement was made in jest and it's all for the hamper [laughs]. I am a big fan of Aishwarya Rai and if I meet her I will definitely apologise because there was nothing personal (to it)." (sic)

Adding to it he said: "Karan just nudges you and makes you say these things. To win a hamper makes you greedy and makes you do such foolish things." He continues, "I have no idea whether she refused the film because of my statement that only the makers and people who approached her know. Lot of actors are approached for a role. I haven't had the chance to meet her. She would have forgotten this incident but obviously she was reminded of it because of articles in newspapers." (sic)
