Have Ranveer and Sanjay Leela Bhansali ended their cold-war?

Ever since Sanjay Leela Bhansali announced his next period drama, Padmavati, everyone was waiting excitedly to see the adorable couple, Deepika and Ranveer back together onscreen. But there have been zillion speculations as to who would play Deepika's husband in the film. Names such as Hrithik Roshan, Shahid Kapoor and Fawad Khan had been making the rounds until finally Shahid had won the race.

Ranveer was to play the role of Allaudin Khilji, had demanded the script of the film from Sanjay, which miffed the filmmaker. As reported earlier Ranveer seemed to be a little insecure about his role considering there was another male lead in the film and Ranveer was playing the bad guy. Since then there had been rumors that, Bhansali had been thinking of replacing Ranveer.

After returning from his Swiss vacation, Ranveer was spotted leaving Sanjay's office late on Saturday night. What's better is that Ranveer sported a big bright smile on his face as he exited the filmmaker's office.

A little birdie also informs that, apparently Ranveer Singh has purchased a plush apartment close to Sanjay Leela Bhansali's set for Padmavati, in Goregaon; to cut the city's busy traffic. As a source informs the leading daily, "While filming Bajirao Mastani, Ranveer stayed at a luxury hotel on the highway which was a few minutes away from the sets. He had also bought a spacious apartment in one of the highrises, which was being done up. Now that is done and the actor will shift there once Padmavati goes on floors." While Deepika and Shahid will travel from their respective residence for the shoot daily.

With Ranveer moving closer to the sets on Padmavati and seen having a big smile while leaving SLB's office, do we hear the good news coming our way? Keep reading this space for more updates.
