Popular singer Arijit Singh and Salman Khan's clash had become a huge controversy after the singer had posted an apology to bhaijaan on his social media account. Though he had later deleted the post, it was already viral on the social media and the story had spread like a wildfire.

Soon, many people came ahead in support of Arijit and bashed Salman for acting too pricey. However, Salman didn't bother to make any comment and refrained from responding to this controversy.

Arijit had asked Salman for his forgiveness and had requested him not to chop off his song from Sultan. The song was 'Jag Ghoomeya' which was later sung by singer Rahat Fateh Ali Khan and was even recorded in Salman's voice.

In a recent interview with a leading daily, Arijit made some bold comments over the entire mess between him and Salman. He said that, "I am a big fan of all actors and especially Salman Khan. Now if something has happened, and I have apologised too, what more can I do to salvage this? I have said sorry , but it does not mean that uss baat ko tum kheechte hi chale jao. I did not sing the song in his film and it does not make a difference to him or me. I understand that he is angry and it is natural. I tried a lot to make Salman Khan understand that I can never disrespected him. But that does not mean I will continue apologising all the time. I have said sorry once and now the chapter is closed." [sic]

Talking about his social media post he said that, "Whatever I said in that post on social media was something that was heartfelt and I meant every single word of it. There was no doubt in that. But that does not mean I will now be more cautious in what I do or say . I am a simple man who comes from a village and villagers like us speak our mind. Now, in the process, if unknowingly my words came across as disrespectful or insulting, then I am deeply sorry. I don't want to hurt anyone," [sic]

It's quite clear that Arijit is now infuriated with the mess created out of the controversy.

Even after a number of requests, Arijit's version of 'Jag Ghoomeya' was removed from the film. But the singer had no objection over Rahat singing the song but he wished that his version should have been retained in the film . He said,"It is important that the best voice is chosen for the number. I am a Rahat Fateh Ali Khan's fan and I am not just saying this for the sake of it. But somewhere, I do feel that they should have let me sing at least one version of the song." [sic]

Now, the 29 years old singer has made up his mind and is no more concerned of Salman being upset over him. He has even planned for his professional changes if required. And this all could be clearly reflected from his statement. He said, "I am still working and the controversy has not affected my work. God forbid, if I don't get to sing songs tomorrow, I will become a music producer." [sic].

Arijit has now taken his stand over the controversy and is now in no mood to apologise over the matter again and again.
