Emraan Hashmi LIED to his 4 year old kid!

Emraan Hashmi took help of the superhero Batman whenever Ayaan would deny eating food. The actor used to call from his wife Parveen Shahani's phone, as his number was saved as 'Batman' on her phone, advising Ayaan to have his food and drink his milk. This is where it all started!

As any parent would do anything to make their kids eat food they tell them someone will come and punish you or the ghost will take you away, etc. - the lies! But when Ayaan was diagnosed with Wilm's tumor that 'Batman lie' made him (Ayaan) fight the cancer!

Emraan Hashmi narrated his struggle of his fight for the life of his son when he was in Kolkata, recently.

When asked about what drove you even when his films didn't do well and simultaneously his family went through the traumatic experience of cancer, he said that there are ups and downs but the real challenge was the illness! Emraan had to lie to his son that he is going for a vacation but the real reason was his treatment to Canada. The hardest part was leaving him there and getting back to India while he was fighting the deadly illness. "There were complications like foot drop, throwing up, losing hair. But the fact that we were fighting for our son's life got us through."(sic)

Another question was that Ayaan must have understood that it's not a vacation but something else how you faced that? To that he answered that kids these days are smart and Ayaan understood that it's not a vacation. He asked Emraan about it but he didn't know how serious it was and that was the reason he got through it. He conquered over the cancer and became a superhero 'Ayaanman'. That's the name Emraan gave Ayaan as it sounds similar to his favourite - Iron Man!
