Sajid Nadiadwala has five franchise films under his banner

Right from the most popular comedy franchises, Housefull and Judwaa to the action film franchises, Kick and Baaghi, and the most recent action adventure franchise, Dishoom.

In fact, Dishoom is the first film in the industry that was conceived as a franchise film. Sequels are only possible when the first film is a super hit among the audience which has happened in all the cases with Sajid Nadiadwala.

Moreover, sequels are mostly profitable as the audiences are more aware of the film prior to release and there is a high level of excitement for the project already. It is not all easy to handle so many sequels under one banner as the expectations are higher from the sequel.

Expectations in terms of the storyline, the scale, the cast, everything has to be one notch higher with every film. This is something Sajid Nadiadwala seems to have understood extremely well. 

The vision that he has for franchise films is huge and that is why lot of established as well as young actors want to work with him. The producer is currently multi managing all his franchise films with each of them in different stages, like scripting, scouting of locations, casting etc.
