Amaal Mallik excited about his 'Baar Baar Dekho' track!

Singer Amaal Mallik says it was "fun" to work with director Nitya Mehra for a honeymoon sequence song picturised on Katrina Kaif and Sidharth Malhotra in "Baar Baar Dekho".

Katrina and Sidharth have finished shooting the song, a duet by Mallik and Neeti Mohan.

"It was great fun working with Nitya Mehra, a girl who is debuting herself and yet has invested so much trust in me.

"She made me forget about what other people were feeling or asking me to do. She gave me a free hand and asked me to come up with a song that I would like to make," Mallik said in a statement.

Mehra also says Mallik's song is her personal favourite from the album of the film.

"This is my personal favourite track in the album and the entire crew went crazy shooting it. We fell in love with the song soon after me and Amaal tried out so many ideas."

"Baar Baar Dekho" is slated to release on September 9.
