Madaari gets a thumbs up from B-Town directors

The actor-director duo has been associated with high content movies. Irrfan's recent breath taking renditions Ashwin Kumar in Talvar and Rana in Piku has received rave reviews and has been loved by the audience.

Nishikant Kamat has high on content movies like 'Mumbai Meri Jaan' and 'Drishyam' to his credit. The duo worked together during Mumbai Meri Jaan and are back after eight years to deliver, yet another content orient drama.

Nishikant and Irrfan arranged a special screening for directors in B-Town. The movie received an overwhelming response from the directors.

David Dhawan shares, "Nishikant is a competent director, the script is very good, the way they have edited the film is fantastic, over all a good film. It has a hold, Irrfan has always been nice and sincerely works and is a commercial actor."

Homi Adjania shares, "I thought it was absolutely fantastic, it's a film that should have been made sooner or later. It's extremely poignant and I think fortunately can expect anything from Irrfan because he is the best so that is a different story. It's a beautiful movie, very poignent movie with a solid message."

Imtiaz Ali shares, "I think it is a very relevant film which every Indian should watch. Lot of truth is being spoken in a very bold manner. It is very honestly written, very powerfully done, it really catches you and everything is very good."

Sudhir Mishra shares, "It is a great story and has a very emotionally effective climax. Bahut sundar."

Hansal Mehta shares, "I was very moved and the film is very timed film. I think this film raises questions and also tries to find the answers. Advice to people: Desh so raha hai, jaagne ka samay aagaya hai. Madaari aapko jaga degi."

Madaari garnered a positive reaction from all the directors attending the event. Madaari showcases the perfect balance between being a thriller and an emotional drama.
