Don 3 isn't rolling soon BUT Priyanka Chopra still a part of franchise

While rumour mills have been speculating over the cast of Don 3, a source close to the Don franchise reveals, that there are no immediate plans for the third instalment of the action-thriller. 

A close source has revealed, "If and when Don 3 is made, the film will retain the original cast. At the moment, Shah Rukh Khan has announced his choc-o-bloc slate which includes 3 big ticket films. While Priyanka Chopra will be busy with the second season of Quantico and will also soon start working on her next Hindi film."

Further the source added, "Her character in the film "Junglee Billi" is integral to the franchise and hence it goes without saying that she will be a part of the film if the makers decide to start work on Don 3.The makers do not understand where the rumours are stemming from, especially since director Farhan Akhtar too is busy with his acting commitments."

"Given these reasons, it does look like the film will take time to materialise and there are no immediate plans to roll with Don 3. Hence speculation surrounding the star cast is out of question," the source concluded.
