Kajol to be a part of Prasar Bharti!

Bollywood actress Kajol is all geared up to be a part of Prasar Bharati as a part time member with the three members committee.

According to a report in a leading daily, the board of Prasar Bharti had conducted a meeting yesterday headed by President Hamid Ansari, Press Council chief C K Prasad and I & B Ministry Joint Secretary Sunil Arora to decide on the appointment of two vacant positions for part time committee members.

The Prasar Bharti Act states that, the public broad caster should have six members on board which will be headed by its chairman. Two of such positions were vacant and thus it was required to fill the vacant posts.

I&B Ministry had included Kajol's name among the list of few chosen candidates eligible for the vacant positions. Along with Kajol, the committee has also nominated Shashi Shekhar Vempati who has been working with Infosys for over a decade.

A source was quoted in the report saying, "The two names have been chosen and orders will soon be passed as per the due process". [sic]
