Dilwale actor Shah Rukh Khan's remarks on intolerance in the country made many unhappyand this reflected on the box office colections of his film! But the issue didn't end there as Shah Rukh's upcoming film 'Raees' is also facing opposition from the Vishwa Hindu Parishad for the same reason.
According to a report in a daily portal, Shah Rukh Khan was expected to shoot for a film sequence for 15 days in Kutch and Ahmedabad. However, a group of VHP workers opposed to the shooting and thus, submitted a memorandum to district officers requesting the cancellation of the permit granted for the shooting.
The party workers went to the extent of burning the film's posters and shouting slogans outside the district collector's office. They even argued that they would create havoc in the shoots if the permit isn't cancelled soon.
Police Sub Inspector M B Parmar was quoted saying, "From the Collector's office they wanted to go to the place where the shooting is on, which is on the outskirts of the Bhuj city, but we have stopped them and dispersed them". [sic]
