Neerja Bhanot who sacrificed her life while saving passengers from terrorists on board the hijacked Pan Am Flight 73 on 5 September 1986 and posthumously became India's youngest recipient of India's highest peacetime military award for bravery, the Ashok Chakra, was a well known face of renowned brands.

The world knows her as the 'Hijack Heroine'. However, there something more to Neerja. She was also a model alongside pursuing her career as an air hostess. While pursuing her career as a model, Neerja also served as a face of several TV commercials and print ads.

The commercials she was part of were:

1. Vaporex

2. Godrej Besto Detergent Powder

3. Palmolive Charmis Cold Cream

4. Hind Vastralaya Cotton Sarees

5. Benzer Sarees and Ghagra Cholis

The heroic Neerja, who was just a girl-next-door did the extraordinary by unleashing the hero inside of her and saving the lives of 359 lives on board the fateful aircraft.

Directed by Ram Madhvani starring Sonam Kapoor, the audiences will get to see the courageous story of Ms. Neerja Bhanot in the film Neerja, which releases on 29th February, 2016
