Leaked: Aishwarya's look from her upcoming movie 'Sarabjit'

Aishwarya Rai Bachchan will be seen playing Dalbir Kaur i.e Sarabjit's sister in Omung Kumar's directorial 'Sarabjit'. The team recently started with the shooting of the film and now the look that Ash will be donning is already being leaked online.

The picture that's making rounds on the social media; has Aishwarya dressed in a brown salwar-kameez along with chappals and glasses to pair with. Also her hair can be seen little greyish that points out towards her aging character in the flick.

The story is based on Sarabjit, an Indian national that was convicted of terrorism and spying by a Pakistani court and sentenced to death in 1991 but the government had stayed his execution for an indefinite period in 2008. Dalbir his sister fought for his release from the Lahore jail but her quest ended tragically when he died in 2013 following a brutal attack by fellow prisoners.

Producer Sandeep Singh was quoted by a leading daily, "The role demanded a very strong character with a powerful aura, and Aishwarya perfectly fits the bill. She has given spectacular performances in all her previous movies and we are confident that she will do justice to this role. After producing 'Aligarh' and co-producing 'Mary Kom', I realised that content-driven films are my calling which further motivated me to take up 'Sarabjit' [sic]

The film began shooting in Punjab this October and is all set to hit the silver screens in May 2016.
