Shahid-Katrina paired up for 'Aankhen 2'?

During the release of 'Welcome Back', Anees Bazmee talked of working on the sequel of 'Aankhen' and since then speculations about the lead pair in 'Aankhen 2' have been doing the rounds in tinsel town.

However, if sources are to be believed, the sequel will bring together for the first time, none other than Shahid Kapoor and Katrina Kaif, in leading roles.

Now, that would be a fresh pair to watch out for!

'Aankhen' saw Akshay Kumar, Amitabh Bachchan, Sushmita Sen, Arjun Rampal and Paresh Rawal in the lead roles.

Sources said, "Aankhen 2 will star Shahid Kapoor, Katrina Kaif, Amitabh Bachchan and Nawazuddin Siddiqui in the lead. Official announcements will happen soon."

However, Anees Bazmee seemed to ward off such speculations saying, "There will be official announcements made on this."

"No comments. But one thing is for sure that without Amitabh Bachchan Aankhen 2 cannot be made. There are 2-3 other actors also signed. Official announcements will be made soon about this may be in 15-20 days," said Anees Bazmee, not giving away much.
