Madhureeta Anand's 'Kajarya' based on female infanticide which has already left many people speechless by its trailer has added one more admirer to its list. Talented actor, director and writer Farhan Akhtar recently watched the trailer of 'Kajarya' and was so amazed that he expressed desire to even watch the film.

Not only this, 'MARD' - Men Against Rape and Discrimination, a NGO by Farhan Akhtar which works with similar ideologies and promotes women empowerment and by instilling gender discrimination wants to support the film. Recently, Farhan went all praises about the film on his social media account and on the official account of 'MARD'. Not only that MARD will also be promoting and supporting  the film in as many ways as possible including a possible screening for Farhan next week if his schedule permits . The film has already received several accolades over its international screening.  And being supported by 22 NGOs who have come together to support the cause on which the film is based - female infanticide.

Commenting on the same, Madhureeta Anand said, "Kajarya has found support of several NGOs. Well known activists eve Ensler and Kamla Bhasin have supported the film and now MARD is supporting us. This is a feather in our cap because they have done such exemplary in the area of redefining masculinity. But perhaps the best part of this association with Mard is the support we are getting from Farhan Akhtar. He stands as a role model for so many men and has so many female fans, it is great to have his validation. We're deeply appreciative because we have such a high regard for his stand on gender issues and quality cinema."
