'Hoardes of Gujaratis living here are running restaurants - one, oddly named 'Gandhiji'! But 'Gandhiji'? Oh, brother! Try opening an eatery in India with that name,' Amitabh posted on his blog www.bigb.bigadda.com.
Amitabh is enjoyed his trip to Paris where he shot for fashion and lifestyle magazine L'Officiel.
Another observation he made was that 'the French everywhere seem extremely hospitable, more friendly and polite than their rumoured bad temperament from earlier years, to tourists and visitors.'
'There is a certain strength in being Indian and being identified with India. And there is a greater acceptance when one mentions nationality,' he added.

Gandhi Restaurant
This restaurant has been around a long time. I went to this restaurant in about 1997. Excellent Punjabi food run by somebody from Ludhiana Gujerat!
I have actually ate at that restarant. It is good but the owner is very proudy about film stars coming to his place to eat and brags to all of his customers. Food is really good but him patting his own back was a put off.
