Shah Rukh Khan has been the king the hearts for a long time now and has been ruling the industry for more than two decades. But, even after being at the top for so long the actor still feels that it's alright even if the world forgets him.

King Khan turned 50 today and to mark this day more memorable he threw out a big bash for the media persons.

During the press conference when we asked him that does he feel responsible for what he has created and is there any pressure on him to sustain it or carry it forward?

To this the Badshah gave a very simple yet meaningful reply. He said. "I do not work for prosperity or posterity but I have both and I can't deny that. God has been kind to me. I am sure a part of my filmmaking will also be remembered but like I said I just cannot give myself too much of credence for what I have learned. So if tomorrow I am not remembered it's alright.

He further added, "But the bottom line is even if you take away everything from me; the love that I have received and the work that I have done is crore times more than anything and you can't snatch that away from me. So I don't bother about what I will have in future. It's not work for a legacy. I came, I worked, I pass away and you forget me and that's absolutely alright.
