Confirmed: Nawazuddin Siddiqui to play a serial killer!

Bollywood is undoubtedly blessed with a talented actor Nawazuddin Siddiqui, who not only gets into any role effortlessly but also carries it off well with ease and comfort.

According to reports, Anurag Kashyap has roped in Nawazuddin Siddiqui for his upcoming project that's based on a true story of serial killer Raman Raghavan.

A close source revealed, "Anurag Kashyap was keen that Nawaz play the role. It's an interesting character. The unit starts shooting in the next 10 days because Nawaz doesn't have any dates free after that." [sic]

The story is based in the era of 1960s wherein the terror of psychopathic serial killer Raman Raghavan was on the rise. He operated in the city of Mumbai and people living in the slums and sleeping in the open were under constant fear of this killer. Even those living in apartments dreaded sleeping with their windows and balcony doors open.

While Nawaz is finalized to play the 'Pyshco Raman'; Shruti Haassan has been approached to play one of the witnesses to this crucial killing in the film. Also, Ayushmann Khurrana is in talks to play the role of a tough cop. But, an official announcement is yet to be made on the same.
