BL3ND, Bassjackers to headline MTV Bloc Party

Mumbai, March 20 (IANS) Electronic dance music artists DJ BL3ND and Bassjackers will be headlining Karbonn Smart MTV Bloc Party, which will also feature a bevy of musicians here on April 11-12.

The participating names will include Rewire & Varski, Nucleya, Ash Roy, Calm Chor, Ankytrixx, Reggae Rajahs, Lost Stories and Su Real.

The two-day dance music festival, hosted by Nikhil Chinapa, is being hosted for the second edition.

On April 11, the party will begin at the beachfront Juhu Hotel, spilling out to multiple night-party blocs across Juhu here.

"Crazy audio-visuals and massive sundowner live acts by our world-class DJs that spread across both the days; young people will definitely take back happy party memories from this music festival," Sumeli Chatterjee, Head (Marketing, Media and Insights) MTV, said in a statement.

"We are playing with concept of light and geometry that will make it a spectacular and musical sunset by the beach, and a treat in the Mumbai summer. And, to top it all, with just one ticket one can ride on a fun club-hop post the sunset, where music follows your footsteps," Chatterjee added.
