Panaji, Nov 23 (IANS) Back in the 1970s, filmmaker Vidhu Vinod Chopra had made a documentary titled "An Encounter with Faces", which won a nomination to the Oscars. He says he would like to do it again.

Since then he has been offering the audience entertainers like "Sazaye Maut", "Khamosh" and "1942: A Love Story". But he won't mind going back to making documentaries.

"I love the format of documentaries. I would love to make documentaries," said Chopra, who has also produced successful films like "Munna Bhai M.B.B.S.", "Parineeta" and "3 Idiots".

He is currently working on his Hollywood venture "Broken Horses", which was even appreciated by "Titanic" director James Cameron.

"I got a call from him and said that he wanted to meet the writer of the film. I told him that he had met the writer. Then I told him that I was the writer," said Chopra, who hadn't put his name on the script.

The "Ferrari Ki Sawaari" producer calls the upcoming film as a "great challenge and one of the most satisfying" projects.

Chopra, who is not a "believer of film festivals", was here for Film Bazaar's "Master Class with Vidhu Vinod Chopra: a dialogue between Filmmakers", where he was interviewed by director Sudhir Mishra.

"I am not a festival man. I can watch movies on DVDs. The idea is to watch movies. But I am impressed by Film Bazaar," he shared.
